Lack of interest, Eden Hazard will not leave Real Madrid this month

The Spanish giants are able to meet the asking price of 100 million euros set by Chelsea for Hazard. Obviously that's a reasonable number, especially since Hazard had only just helped the Blues win the Europa League at the time.

Hazard is expected to be the focus of Real Madrid's striker who is looking for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. But, instead of becoming a star figure, Hazard actually spent more time in the treatment room due to injury.

Once expected to be a star, Hazard is now seen as a burden to be rid of. Real Madrid had to reduce their salary spending and that's why the 30-year-old was on their list.

Unfortunately, there are very few clubs interested in Hazard as reported by Marca. There are only two promising clubs, namely Chelsea and Newcastle. The first name is said to have not been interested in approaching the former.

Newcastle can provide a tempting proposal for Hazard. He is certainly capable of being a savior figure so that the Magpies are not relegated to the Championship division. But from the last report, Hazard is known to be reluctant to move there.

Wait for the End of the Season

Again, according to Marca's report, Hazard is known to be waiting for the right club to take him away from the Santiago Bernabeu. The end of the 2021/22 season is the final benchmark.

If the right offer has not arrived, Hazard is very likely to stay at Los Merengues. But as a consequence, he had to accept a pay cut. Moreover, he had to find a club that was willing to accommodate him with all their might.
