Manu Tuilagi will miss England's Six Nations game against Wales on Saturday.

Having previously issued a statement that Manu was ready for the match against Wales, but after undergoing a post-training scan this statement could not be realized

Prior to Tuilagi's injury, it was announced that Harry Randall would start from the scrum-half, while a fit Courtney Lawes was again named captain.

And Tuilagi has been set to partner Henry Slade in midfield

Tuilagi's injury means he has missed 79 games

His long history with injury means he has missed a possible 79 games since making his England debut in 2011 and the team have often struggled to find suitable replacements in midfield.

Returning after his latest hamstring problem, Jones said Tuilagi "was a Test match winner", adding "you can't say that about too many players".

"We don't have other centers like that with the weight, power and speed they bring," Jones continued.

"He is unique to England."
