Paying high dowry to MMA promoter, Jake Paul admits he hasn't been offered anything by Khabib Nurmagomedov
MDP Live - The famous YouTuber who is now playing boxing, Jake Paul, turned out to be placing a high dowry on an MMA promoter who wanted to work with him.
As is known, Jake Paul was attracted to MMA after stealing the spotlight in the boxing world with his celebrity fights.
He successfully challenged two former MMA champions, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, to boxing.
The man nicknamed The Problem Child always wins. Askren and Woodley, not real strikers and more proficient in wrestling, were each knocked out once.
Paul's desire to try out MMA emerged recently. He claims to have experience wrestling, back in high school.
Paul plans to train first before jumping into MMA. However, if there is an offer, he is ready to listen.
"There is (interest in fighting MMA) and not in the near term, but in the medium term," Paul said in The MMA Hour, quoted from MMA Fighting.
"I need to practice my kicks and a bit of jiu-jitsu for two years, maybe two and a half years before I fight."
"Unless the money offers are really good, but nothing brings up anything quite interesting," he added.
Khabib Nurmagomedov's Eagle FC is one of the MMA competitions that Paul has been linked with.
The former UFC lightweight champion even stated that he had made an offer to Paul to join Eagle FC
Paul denied Nurmagomedov's statement.
"That's not true. They never offered me anything. Eagle FC has never even held an event," said Paul.
"It's not that I'm not happy with what they're doing, I need a lot more than I make in boxing to take the plunge into MMA."
"People have to come up with 25 million to 35 million to open negotiations with me," he added.
The dowry proposed by Paul is quite large in the MMA universe. Even for UFC class promoters.
UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou pays less than $1 million from his last fight at UFC 270.
Former UFC number one fighter, Jon Jones, also clashed with the promoter of the MMA match for asking for double-digit fees.
Paul himself is ready to face Nurmagomedov if anyone dares to fulfill the dowry he has set.
"Because the match will be interesting. It will excite me, especially if I have more time to train," continued Paul.
"It's going to be a big fight. Maybe one or two million pay-per-views."
“What I had to do was practice my wrestling skills. I could beat him in a standing fight,” explains Paul.
Rumored to train Jake Paul in MMA, coach Khabib Nurmagomedov opens his voice
MDP Live - Khabib Nurmagomedov's coach, Javier Mendez, responded to the discourse that he would coach Jake Paul if he was willing to enter MMA.
After showing quite good performances in several boxing duels, Jake Paul has the desire to explore the world of MMA.
Despite getting the spotlight for this, Jake Paul still made his determination.
In the midst of many who doubt him, Jake Paul believes he can achieve great success as an MMA fighter.
"For sure, 100 percent I think it (moving to MMA) will happen," said Paul, quoted from Talksport.
"Why not? If I can learn boxing in two years and beat someone like Tyron Woodley."
"If that's the case, why can't I learn MMA in two years and then beat an opponent like Woodley?"
"That's my answer. It will happen on several occasions, 100 percent," he said again.
Pretending to want to join the UFC, Jake Paul wants to be killed by Khamzat Chimaev
MDP Live - Boxer Youtuber, Jake Paul, becomes the target of Khamzat Chimaev if he is really serious about joining the UFC.
Khamzat Chimaev took part in the take-up involving UFC President Dana White with Jake Paul.
Following up on Jake Paul's offer to switch to MMA, Khamzat Chimaev was willing to become the first opponent in the UFC.
Khamzat Chimaev is a new UFC star who has collected four consecutive wins in the octagon.
The welterweight ranked 11th fighter is even claimed as Dana White is one of the most feared figures in the UFC.
With such a brilliant record, Chimaev became one of the names Paul called to make White emotional.
Paul himself gave a challenge to another welterweight star, Jorge Masvidal.
Paul is willing to retire from review and fight Masvidal and other UFC stars in the octagon with three conditions that must be met first.
White must provide a salary and share a 50:50 profit of the UFC's annual earnings to the fighter.
Paul apparently did not get a positive response from the Swedish fighter.
Chimaev signaled a threat by uploading a photo of himself with Jake Paul's older brother, Logan Paul.
"Don't joke with me, you know what I mean," Chimaev said, quoted by Sportskeeda.com.
Chimaev then asked Dana White for permission to fight Jake Paul if he really joined the UFC.
The fighter nicknamed Borz will silence Jake Paul's big mouth if given the opportunity to fight with him.
"Dana White, let me smack Jake Paul's big mouth," said Chimaev
