NBA: Devin Booker stars as Phoenix Suns beat Chicago Bulls

Devin Booker scored 38 points to help the Phoenix Suns beat the Chicago Bulls 127-124 and secure their 13th win in 14th games.

Chris Paul finished with 19 points and 11 assists while Jae Crowder hit 10 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

Phoenix have now won four straight games over the Bulls, including two wins last season.

The Golden State Warriors stretched their winning streak to nine by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-98.

Klay Thompson scored 21 points for the Warriors, while Stephen Curry fell just short of a triple-double with 18 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds.

It is the Warriors' longest winning streak since an 11-game run in January 2019.

Donovan Mitchell starred as the Utah Jazz erased a double-digit second-half deficit to beat the New York Knicks 113-104 in Salt Lake City.

Mitchell scored 32 points and finished with seven rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Bojan Bogdanovic and Mike Conley Jr scored 20 and 18 respectively to condemn the Knicks to a third straight defeat.

The Miami Heat secured a comfortable 121-100 win over the Washington Wizards, while the Toronto Raptors ran out 116-101 winners to inflict a fifth successive defeat on the Charlotte Hornets.

NBA: Save Klay Thompson's comeback date with the Golden State Warriors

MDP Live - Good news for basketball and NBA lovers. Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson will be back in action early next week. Thompson is expected to make a comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Thompson's return will occur on Monday (10/1/2022). This news was revealed by The Athletic. The match against the Cavaliers became Thompson's debut in the 2021/2022 NBA.

The 31-year-old has missed playing in the NBA for 31 months. Thompson was injured twice so badly that he had to be out for so long.

Thompson last played in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors in the sixth game of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, June 2019. He suffered an ACL injury to his left knee.

Unfortunately for Thompson, while training hard to return to play, an Achilles tendon injury hit him in November 2020.

Now Thompson is completely fit. He began full training at the end of 2021. Last month Thompson was placed in the Warriors' G League team, Santa Cruz.

Thompson has also played fully in the internal Warriors match to fill the void due to the game against the Denver Nuggets being postponed due to the Covid-19 case.
