On 19 June 2022 the German MotoGP Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Pix was held and won by Fabio Quartararo, from Monster Energy Yamaha.
Not only surviving as the champion of the MotoGP standings in 2022, Fabio got a new throne, namely King Sachsenring replacing Marc Marquez who always managed to conquer the Sachsenring field for 8 consecutive editions.

And in pole position, Francesco Bagnaia did not use it well and crashed out of the race and that happened in the 14th minute, and this was the second time Bagnaia had bounced off the circuit.
