MDP Live - World champion Tyson Fury vows to crush Dillian Whyte with one hand behind his back in his mandatory WBC heavyweight bout. Tyson Fury boasted while undergoing his training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The 33-year-old bowed to a record-breaking salary offer won by Fury promoter Frank Warren after a £30.6m bid. Whyte had been almost silent on the radio since the announcement of the fight, whereas the Gypsy King was full of bullshit.
And while training in Dubai, Fury took the opportunity to attack his former training partner while discussing tactics before their fight. He told DubaiEyeSport:
"Whatever I feel at night. Because I don't pay much attention to these homeless people, to be fair," he said. "Whatever I felt that night. Either way, I can definitely beat Whyte. Even if I put one hand behind my back and one foot off the floor, I will still beat him."
It is believed the pair have now accepted the contract to counter the imminent date and venue confirmation. Cardiff's Principality Stadium was an early pioneer to host the all-British showdown.
Fury also mocked Anthony Joshua when asked if they would end up fighting. "I'm not sure what to think about Anthony Joshua anymore. Frankly, no one cares about him anymore. But maybe I'll drop him just for the fun of it."
